Taguig City University Celebrates World Tourism Day 2026

Taguig City University (TCU)  joins the global celebration of World Tourism Day 2026, recognizing the importance of tourism in promoting cultural understanding, creating opportunities, and fostering sustainable development.

Vice President for Academics Dr. Albert Madrigal delivers an inspirational message to officially open the event.

Dr. Iluminada Bueno, Dean of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) at TCU, shares words of wisdom and inspiration with the students.

The celebration featured a glamorous and creative fashion show that transformed trash and discarded materials into stunning fashion pieces, highlighting the value of creativity, resourcefulness, and sustainability.

Aside from the fashion show, the event also featured a Flight Attendant Safety Demo Competition.

PTC Aviation generously sponsored two vouchers for its 15-Day Flight Attendant Training Program, supporting aspiring aviation professionals and recognizing the winning pair for their skills and performance.
