In Her Own Light: A Creative Journey
Outside the classroom, Tisha is currently one of the featured artists in the ongoing exhibit In Her Image, where she presents a striking series titled In Her Own Light.
Her four textured acrylic paintings—Only the Bold, Hand in Hand We Go, The Breath Before Flight, and Scarlet—are vivid reinterpretations of classic fairy tales, told through her personal lens.
With a background in photography and years of experience in camera clubs, Tisha brings a strong sense of light, composition, and emotion to her paintings—telling stories that beautifully blend imagination with personal experience.

As a retired flight attendant and passionate marathon runner, Tisha draws strength and inspiration from her travels, channeling that energy into her art.
Her work isn’t just about storytelling. It’s also about transformation. Whether she’s guiding students toward their aviation dreams or expressing herself through paint, Tisha continues to inspire others to embrace life as a colorful, ever-evolving journey.
